Rare Signed After Pablo Picasso Hand-Painted Stencil Pochoir 1922. M. Knoedler Provenance
Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973), ‘Verre et Compotiere’. A rare signed pochoir, 1922. Stencil in colors on paper, no. 64 of 100 impressions. Pencil signed lower right and numbered lower left. Title and other notations to old Knoedler Gallery label to verso.
According to the Picasso Administration "Pochoir" lots need to be marked as "after" per their guidelines
Provenance: The Christine and R. Barclay Scull Collection; Aiken C. Reese, Philadelphia (by descent from the above); by descent from the above to the present owner, 1979; M. Knoedler & Co., New York.

Sight – 11" high x 14 1/4" wide. Frame – 19 3/4" high x 22 1/2" wide.
Condition: Not examined out of frame, though it presents as very good. Very nicely framed in black lacquer moulding with mat and gilt filet. Verso having a cut out window to view the Knoedler label.
