Group of Three Post-Modern Swid Powell/David Palterer Silverplate Candlesticks
Group of three Post-Modern Swid Powell marked silverplated brass candlesticks of substantial weight, designed by architect David Palterer, 1988. Marked to underside of base: Palterer / Swid Powell / Made in Italy/Silverplated.
Founded in 1982 by Nan Swid and Addie Powell, the company produced innovative housewares designed by leading designers. In 1984 the first Swid Powell collection of porcelain dinnerware, silverware, and glass was launched, proving highly commercial in design-conscious retail outlets. Those designing for Swid Powell included many of the celebrity names associated with international design, such as Arata Isosaki, Ettore Sottsass, Zaha Hadid, George Sowden, Richard Meier, Robert Venturi, David Palterer and Michael Graves.
12" high x 3.75" in diameter.

All lots are offered and sold "as is", and COLLECTive Hudson will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.
SHIPPING
COLLECTive Hudson does not provide any shipping or packing services. We will happily provide a list of recommended shippers who can provide shipping quotes prior to bidding. Shippers will also be listed on your invoice.
PAYMENT
All invoices totaling over $5,000 to be paid via wire transfer. All jewelry, watches and silver must be paid via wire. All Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.1% CC FEE. Absolutely no credit card transactions over the phone.
