Harry Orlyk oil on canvas landscape likely the Lake Champlain area, signed and dated l.r. "9-12-84, Orlyk H." 12" x 19 3/4" canvas, 18 1/4" x 25 3/4" framed. Harry Orlyk’s plein air oil paintings tell the stories and histories of the land near his home in Salem, New York. Painting daily, he has been documenting American farmland in Washington County, NY for over 35 years. Orlyk is known for his ability to capture a rural country landscape with impressionistic brush strokes and a bright color palette.
