Mystery Artist Late 19th Century American School, ‘Young Woman Holding a Bouquet’. Oil painting on Canvas
American, late19th century oil painting on canvas portrait depicting a standing female figure wearing a blue gown with an ermine collar, and holding a floral bouquet. Nicely executed, no apparent signature. Mounted in a period giltwood frame.
Canvas – 27" high x 19" wide. Frame – 35" high x 27 1/2" wide.
Condition: Old repair to tear with corresponding areas of in-painting. Craquelure commensurate with age. Frame having losses commensurate to age.
