Rare Ancient 16 inch Chinese Neolithic Terracotta Jar…5000YRS
Chinese Neolithic terracotta jar, having a trumpet neck with a flared rim decorated with two rows of black triangles above a wide band of black and red meander design, the body of tapering ovoid form with low handles, apparently unmarked.Its form and decoration follow a distinctly Chinese artistic tradition that can be traced to the middle of the Neolithic period, about 3000-4000 B.C.
