Paul Colin Art Deco Hand Colouring Edition Lithograph / Painting
Paul Colin signed hand Colored Pochoir on wove paper, printed recto, and verso Size edition: 500. This is the first 1927 edition Plate-signed.
From the iconic Art Déco portfolio "Le Tumulte Noir" with includes 42 images heightened with pochoir and 2 lithographic calligrams. Published in tribute ‘to Josephine Baker and the other African American performers who had captivated the Parisian public during les années folles, those “crazy years” known in America as the Roaring Twenties’ (Dalton and Gates).
Printed by H. Chachoin, Paris in 1927.
