Wonderful Erhard & Sohne Art Nouveau Table Clock, Schwabisch Gmund, Germany
Rare Erhard & Sohne Table Clock, Schwabisch Gmund, Germany, Art Nouveau circa 1910. This clock features an ebonized wooden case with two columns and a front in rosewood, embellished with brass inlays. The enamel dial displays black Arabic numerals. Note that there’s a hairline crack in the upper quarter of the clock face that is only noticeable upon very close inspection.. It incorporates a French round movement with a half-hour disc chime that resonates on a bell.
