A fluted cachepot planter or fish bowl with rich Imari decoration, each side is decorated with a cartouche depicting birds on the banks of a river and a cherry tree in the clouds, framed by scattered medallions containing plants and dragons on a background of interlacing and semi-flowers. The bamboo base is also 19th century.
