Ancient high gold content cherub pendant with simplified features, Probably Sarmatian made between 1st Century AD, and the 3rd Century AD, garnet cabochons on drop-shaped arm cells, a garnet-embellished headpiece, and spiral decorations flanking the head. The Sarmatians displaced the Scythians in southern Russia and Ukraine in the 3rd century BC.
