Rare suite of eight original silver gelatin prints by Man Ray, created for the 1938 International Surrealist Exhibition at the Galerie des Beaux-Arts, Paris. The mannequin installation featured in these photographs was a collaborative surrealist effort involving key figures such as Salvador Dali, Oscar Dominguez, Marcel Duchamp, Andre Masson, Yves Tanguy, and others. Each print (5 x 7 inch approx) is mounted together in a single frame and bears the Man Ray Gallery stamp on the reverse. Further marks or inscriptions may be present but have not been verified due to framing.
