Francis Humphrey Woolrych (American, 1868–1941) oil on canvas painting depicting a nude woman sleeping in the grass with her head and upper body resting against a tree. Signed lower left. (Very Hard to see) . Circa late 19th to early 20th century, USA.
Bio: Francis Humphry Woolrych’s speciality was nudes, landscapes and portraits. He has a mural in the dome in the capital building named the Wealth of the North in Jefferson City, Missouri and in the St. Louis Library. He was noted in the 1904 Artists Who’s Who in America.
