Pair of Antique French Empire armchairs featuring ornate carvings, ebonized wood finish and upholstered in brown leather. The chairs were designed as thrones after a chair designed for Napoleon when he became Emperor of France, showcasing elaborate winged griffon figures at the armrests that add a regal and mythological appeal.
