NO RESERVE Important Hunt Slonem (American, b. 1951), "Toco, " is a hand-signed one of a kind oil on wood hand painted wall-hanging sculpture from 1999. The piece features Slonem’s signature textured impasto paint on a shaped board, depicting toucans. The work is titled, dated, and signed on the verso.

Bio:

Artist Bio: Hunt Slonem is renowned for his neo-expressionist paintings of exotic tropical birds. Since 1977, he has had over one hundred fifty solo exhibitions at prestigious galleries and his work is included in over fifty museum collections worldwide. Slonem’s artwork is celebrated in cities such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. He has received numerous accolades, including the 1991 National Endowment for the Arts Grant in Painting.
