NO RESERVE Jacqueline Tollet-Loeb (French, 1931–2021) oil on canvas showing a kneeling female figure. Signed “J. Tollet-Loeb” at the lower left in a gilt frame.
Artist Bio: Jacqueline Tollet-Loeb (French, 1931–2021) was a painter and watercolorist born in Vincennes who trained in the free academies of Paris, including the Académie Julian and Académie de la Grande Chaumière. Working primarily in Normandy and western France, she became known for lyrical figurative subjects, townscapes, and luminous color. Tollet-Loeb exhibited regularly in regional salons and solo shows across cities such as Saint-Nazaire, Rennes, Laval, Caen, Honfleur, and Lorient, and her work continues to appear in the French and international auction market.
