Important Large natural quartz crystal contemplation sphere mounted atop an intricately hand-carved 19th century Chinese ebony stand. The spherical crystal features natural mineral inclusions with rose, amber, and milky white veining. The heavy hardwood base is deeply carved in high relief with a continuous landscape of immortals, pine trees, mountains, and flowing water, symbolizing longevity and spiritual harmony. Exceptional craftsmanship with detailed carving and strong presence when displayed.
