Description
Christofle, 100-piece early 1900’s silverplate flatware service for twelve in the same pattern. Comprised of: (12) dinner knives, 10 1/4", (12) lunch/dessert knives, 8 1/4", (12) dinner forks, 8", (12) lunch/dessert forks, 7 1/8", (12) soup spoons, 8", (12) tea spoons, 7", (12) demitasse spoons, 4 7/8", (6) salt spoons, 3 1/2", (1) small cheese knife, 7 3/4", (1) small ladle, 7 3/4′, (1) large ladle, 12 3/4", (2) bone/silverplate serving pieces, consisting large spoon and fork, each 11 1/4", (1) two-piece carving set consisting of a knife, 12 1/2" and fork, 10 3/4", (1) serving piece with gold wash to bowl, 9 1/2", (2) reticulated pieces for serving fish, the knife, 12 1/8" and server, 10 1/2". (100 pieces total). In oak case, with drop down front opening to four drawers, and hinged top, overall dimensions 11 1/2" high x 19 1/4" wide x 14 1/2" deep. Condition: All pieces are marked for Christofle, other than the dinner and lunch/dessert knife handles, the cheese knife handle, the two piece bone/silverplate serving set handles, and the two piece carving set handles. Some of the knife blades are old replacements, all having wear to blades typical of age and use. Dents to the handles of the dinner knives. The entire set has no personal monograms. The key to the oak case is present and case is in very good condition.
