Early 20th Century Pairpoint Puffy Table Lamp with Marked Tulip-decorated Venice Shade
Antique Pairpoint Puffy Table Lamp with tulip-decorated venice shade, new bedford, massachusetts. Early 20th century. Shade interior painted with red tulips on a ground of moire fabric design. The rim of the shade is marked The Pairpoint Company. Raised on an patinated metal tree-form base, having a four-arm spider, two sockets with pull chains.
Overall, with shade 19 1/2" high x 9" diameter at foot of base. Shade Itself – 7 1/2" high x 14" diameter.
Condition: Shade is very good, with no losses of paint or in-painting. No chips or breaks. The base having original wiring, pull chains and sockets. Lamp has not been tested. We recommend updating any vintage wiring.
