Signed 19th Century Watercolor & Pencil of an Indigenous Female Figure
19th Century pencil and watercolor painting depicting an indigenous female figure holding a flower. Signed lower left, L. Mallard. Most likely executed by an english artist rendering images related to travel & exploration. Framed in faux bamboo giltwood molding with lined double matting. Originally framed by J. Pocker & Son, NY.
Sight – 7" high x 4" wide. Frame: 13 3/4" high x 10 3/4" wide
Condition: Not examined out of frame. Nice color, some water staining to the left of the figure. Frame very good.
