Philip and Kelvin LaVerne mid century modern Signed Classical Inspired Wall Sculpture, sculpture is made of patinated bronze, etched and with hand painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American, 1960s (signed front bottom right "Kelvin + Philip LaVerne"). Within a bronze frame. This work depicts the partially draped goddess Aphrodite with Cupid. It is impressive in size and its composition is part of a group of works inspired by ancient mythology. it measures 48" x 24" approximate and is in good condition.
