Description
Jules Pascin Gouache of balcony figures. Painting: 14.5" x 18.75"Frame: 22" x 27" Possibly a gouache of New Orleans, Mardi Gras. When Pascin traveled through the United States, he spent most of his time in the South. Although there is sign Hotel Notre Dame, lower right, Mardi Gras hotels often took on French names. Provenance: 30 year Private Collection, NYC, Estate name witheld on request of family, sold by request of the family. This is accompanied with an Authentication letter.
