French Louis XIV 18 inch tall Dore Bronze Clock circa 1880-1890. Antique Fine French Rococo-style mantel clock, often made of ormolu (gilt bronze). These clocks were a popular form of decorative art in 18th and 19th-century France. Style: Rococo, characterized by its ornate, asymmetrical design with scrolls, foliage, and other decorative motifs.
