Lalique Store Paris Counter

Exceptional bar or console cabinet crafted in ceruse oak and inset with eight molded and pressed glass panels by Lalique, from the celebrated Figurines et Raisins model. This design was originally created on September 28, 1928, for the decoration of the Cote dAzur Pullman Express lounge car.

The front showcases a remarkable composition of Lalique panels: two Pipe Player panels, one Figurine and Grapes Head Up Facing panel, one Figurine and Grapes Head Up Left panel, two Raisin Right panels, and two Grapes Left panels.

The structure features a central cabinet with two doors and interior shelving on the reverse side. A floating glass counter rests above, supported by nickel-plated metal mounts.

The backs of the front glass panels are concealed by interior oak paneling, which is attached with small screws. These panels were not removed for inspection, and no apparent markings were observed on the exterior surfaces.
