Art Deco enamel over copper vase by Camille Faure, featuring blue and white glazes arranged in a sculptural geometric motif. The copper body is covered with precious metal foil and decorated with polychrome impasto enamel.
Signed C. FAURE LIMOGES (gold, handwritten). The vase includes a brass ring and base.
Camille Faure was a French enamel artist and entrepreneur celebrated as one of the most innovative designers of the Art Deco era. Best known for his work with the Limoges pottery company, Faure revitalized the art of enameling in the early 20th century. His workshop produced vases, bowls, and decorative objects characterized by a distinctive three-dimensional, sculptural surface achieved through multiple layers of enamel.
Faures geometric and stylized floral designsrenowned for their vibrant color and depthremain among the most admired examples of French Art Deco craftsmanship.
