Signed Gilbert Monteyne Art Nouveau polychrome pottery planter with pedestal, Belgium, early 20th century. Features a flared rim, applied loop handles in naturalistic form, and a flowing marbled glaze in rich green, yellow, and blue tones. Marked with the initials GJM on planter and pedestal for Gilbert Joseph Monteyne (18731956), noted Belgian sculptor and ceramicist associated with the Art Nouveau movement.
