Post Impressionist oil painting on canvas signed Loiseau depicting 5 nude women in a river. Gustave Loiseau was a French painter best known for his Post-Impressionist landscapes utilizing crosshatched strokes to describe light and forms. Loiseau exhibited at the Salon des Independants of 1893 and the Impressionist exhibitions of 1890 and 1896.
