Description
Murano colossal exhibition tropical fish bowl by Pino Signoretto (1944-2017). The piece features three bright tropical fish with linear and anthemion style designs, white rods accenting the translucent fins, and three bubbles rising above each mouth. The fish rest in the clear well of the wide bowl which blends into amethyst glass towards the rounded rims. The bowl is signed “Pino Signoretto” to the underside. Pino Signoretto became a maestro at age 16 and opened his own atelier in Murano in 1978. 22 inch diameter. Circa 1985
