Description
W & SB Carnelian and Gold Pendant Circa 1850 on a gold slide chain. Chain Measures 48"L in half. Weighs 24.4 grams. It is signed W&Sb. Inside the pendant there is a lock of hair. The company was started by two brothers in 1865. W. & S. Blackinton Co. (W&SB) was originally a manufacturer of gold jewelry in Meriden, CT. After being purchased by the Ellmore Silver Co. in the 1930’s.
