Josep Guinovart Signed and dated Oil on Canvas Still Life. Dated 1959 Frame measures 30.5"W x 35"H. Painting Measures 19"W x 23.5"H. Josep Guinovart i Bertran was a Spanish painter most famous for his informalist or abstract expressionist work. Provenance (From estate of Laura Odell: ny times obituary) Laura Odell (b1922), a retired designer, died on August 25, 2021 at her home of 56 years in Manhattan. Her clients included notable figures in fashion, corporate leadership and politics. In her early 90s, she consulted on the design of the current Gracie Mansion. A frequent contributer to the New York Times Home section. She was an enthusiastic patron of the arts, including theater, ballet and musical performance.
