Description
Romain Erte De Tirtoff/Erté (Russian/French, 1892-1990) original pencil and gouache rendering of a costume design, titled ‘Costume for the Opera’, circa 1940. Dated lower left and signed Erté lower right in ink. From a Long Island Collection. Dimensions: Image – 11 1/2" high x 4 1/2" wide. Sight- 13 1/2" high x 7 1/2" wide. Frame- 15" high x 9" wide. Condition: Not examined out of frame, although it presents as very good condition Recent frame.
