19th Century pencil and watercolor depicting an indigenous female figure holding a flower. Signed lower left, L. Mallard. A very nice rendering, framed in faux bamboo giltwood moulding with lined double matting. Dimensions: Sight – 7" high x 4" wide. Frame: 13 3/4" high x 10 3/4" wide. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Nice color, some water staining to the left of the figure. Frame very good. Originally framed by J. Pocker & Son, NY.
