Description
Lino Sabattini (Italian, 1925-2016). Modernist silver plated brass Pragma tray with two handles. 1/2" thick removable glass insert rests in asilverplated frame. Marked Pragma, Sabattini, Italy to frame. Lino Sabattini was an Italian designer best known for his innovative design of silver-plated candle holders, vases, kettles, and other household wares.His works are held in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, among others. Dimensions: 2 1/2" high x 12 3/4" diameter to tray surface, 15 3/4" including handles. Condition: Very good. No chips to the glass insert.
