Signed Muller Freres French Art Deco-Period Hanging Frosted Glass Plafonnier
Muller Freres art deco plafonnier, circa 1925. The bowl of pink frosted glass with molded, stylized geometric form flowers, having three suspension chains and replacement brass-plated canopy. One light. Signed.
Muller Freres was an esteemed french glassmaking company based in Luneville, France. It is famous for its art nouveau vases, lampshades, and chandeliers, which often incorporate layered and colored glass. Their workshop was established by Henri Muller and his brothers in 1895 after they trained with Emille Galle.
Shade – 4" high x 14 1/4" diameter.
