Oil painting on canvas depicting a lively party with dogs, horse drawn carriage, and early American house with festivity tent. Label verso identifies the scene as New York, south of the Adirondacks, housed in a period walnut frame with gilt liner, 14" x 18" canvas, 17 1/2" x 21 1/4" framed. Painting has been relined, craquelure throughout, presents nicely.
