Signed Tiffany Studios, NY, Leaded Glass Peony Shade on Bronze Base, both marked for Tiffany
Signed Tiffany Studios, NY. ‘Peony’ table lamp. Domed shade of leaded glass having an allover peony design in shades of white, purple, blue and green, marked ‘Tiffany Studios NY’ and numbered ‘1475-1 to interior of rim. The bronze base with three sockets, acorn finial, marked ‘Tiffany Studios New York’ & 587′ to underside. Provenance: Macklowe Gallery & Modernism, 1988; Private Collection, new york.

Condition: Good with a couple of heat cracked glass in leaded cells, with very minor scratching, some glass slightly loose when dome shaken, fitter ring may be replacement. The base is untested, old wiring, with areas of verdigris.
