Late 18th/Early 19th Century American Chippendale Cherry Slant-front Desk
Late 18th/Early 19th Century American Chippendale Slant-Front Desk in Cherry. Slant front opens to fitted interior, over four drawers with brass hardware, original lock to top drawer. Raised on bracket feet. Wide boards to the back of case.
41 1/8" high x 36 3/4" wide (at top), 38 1/2" wide (at feet) x 17 1/2" deep (at feet).
Condition: Minor splits to writing surface. Minor ink staining to writing surface as well as drawer interiors. One drawer having a small area of glue spill. Drawer pulls are later replacements. No key is present for this lot.
