Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Limited Edition 0.5 Liter Stein
Castle top stein marked Villeroy & Boch with the Mettlach logo in an attempt to bring back the old art form. Note that the Mettlacher Turm (Mettlach Tower) is featured on the lid. It is also marked "730/3000" limited edition and dated 1976.
Text: Ohne Wein und Liebe ist das Leben trübe.Mettlacher Bierkrug tut deinem Durst gut. Translates to Without wine and love, life is dull. (A) Mettlach beer stein does your thirst good.
Text: Beim trinken froh, beim handeln gut, ein frohes Herz gibt frischen Mut. Translates to With merry drinking, with good behavior, a merry heart gives fresh courage.

The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Complete condition information is available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and COLLECTive Hudson will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.
SHIPPING
COLLECTive Hudson does not provide any shipping or packing services. We will happily provide a list of recommended shippers who can provide shipping quotes prior to bidding. Shippers will also be listed on your invoice.
PAYMENT
All invoices totaling over $5,000 to be paid via wire transfer. All jewelry, watches and silver must be paid via wire. All Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.1% CC FEE. Absolutely no credit card transactions over the phone.
