19th Century British School, ‘East India Company Ship, Bombay’. Oil painting on canvas depicting a steam/sailing ship, in gilt moulding. Provenance: Christies, London, November 17,1961, Lot # 56. East India Company Ship, Bombay’ Various labels to verso, several for the Grayson County State Bank, Sherman Texas.

Canvas – 20′ high x 30" wide. Frame – 29 1/2" high x 39 1/2" wide.

The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Complete condition information is available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and COLLECTive Hudson will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.

SHIPPING

COLLECTive Hudson does not provide any shipping or packing services. We will happily provide a list of recommended shippers who can provide shipping quotes prior to bidding. Shippers will also be listed on your invoice.

PAYMENT

All invoices totaling over $5,000 to be paid via wire transfer. All jewelry, watches and silver must be paid via wire. All Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.1% CC FEE. Absolutely no credit card transactions over the phone.

Condition: Painting has been relined and has an old repair for tear. Several areas of in-painting. Craquelure commensurate with age. Some losses to the frame.
