Maritime Painting 18th C Battle Scene on Oil Painting on Cradled Wood Panel.Very dramatic and very well executed rendering of a naval offensive against a fortified city, oil painting depicting a very detailed maritime battle scene. Seemingly unsigned. Various ships bearing British flags attacking a port town. possibly a part of a paneled room installation. Oil on board, harbor scene with ships firing on one another, figures falling from ships, explosions and smoke in the air, figures in boats with swords drawn, some blowing bugles, ; sight 41 1/2"W, 17 3/4"H; frame 46 1/4"W, 22 1/4"H; good condition Please refer to photos. No apparent signature.

Panel – 17 1/2" high x 42 1/4" wide. Frame – 22 1/2" high x 46 1/4" wide.

COLLECTive Hudson does not provide any shipping or packing services. We will happily provide a list of recommended shippers who can provide shipping quotes prior to bidding. Shippers will also be listed on your invoice.

PAYMENT

All invoices totaling over $5,000 to be paid via wire transfer. All jewelry, watches and silver must be paid via wire. All Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.1% CC FEE. Absolutely no credit card transactions over the phone.
