Description
Disney WELCOMING A NEW MILLENNIUM Framed LE Sericel with COA, #1497 / 2000
THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS Welcoming a New Millennium (1999)
serigraphy on cel sheet and lithography on paper; image size 19.5" x 33.5" in 20" x 34" mat window and 30" x 44" x 1.25" frame. This is a limited-edition sericel created especially for Disney’s celebration of the new millennium" and "showcases nearly eight decades of 20th Century Disney through depictions of classic characters as they gather to celebrate the year 2000." It features an array of "the timeless stars, enduring personalities, and landmark locales from Disney’s films, television programs, and theme parks.
The Walt Disney Studios…created the character images using the fine art screen printing process of color reproduction known as serigraphy. A total of 55 colors were used to recreate the color image. Disney artist Paul Wenzel…specially created the background scene, " and it was "lithographically printed…on premium-quality, acid-free paper" by Anderson Printing.
Holographic seal with the legend "Limited Edition Walt Disney Animation Art Serigraph Cel" and "Edition Size 2000" below appear on the cel sheet at lower right; "1497/2000" is at lower left. The mat "bears a special, screen-printed Disney remarque commemorating the year 2000." The edition "is comprised of a numbered general edition of no more than 2,000 sericels, numbered 1/2000 to 2000/2000, and no more than 250 publisher’s proofs numbered PP 1/250 through PP 250/250, for a total maximum of 2,250 sericels."
The Disney Enterprises, Inc. Certificate of Authenticity is in a clear plastic pouch on the back.

PAYMENT
All invoices totaling over $5,000 must be paid via wire transfer. Payments for jewelry, watches, and silver must also be made via wire transfer. Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.1% fee. We do not accept credit card transactions over the phone.
INVOICING AND HOURS
We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Invoices will be sent out on Wednesday morning after the auction. Pick-up is available by appointment only from Wednesday to Sunday, between 11am-4pm.

During the Auction, we have a limited number of staff members available at Collective Hudson and will not be able to respond to phone calls or emails. Only one employee is responsible for handling all invoices and preparing items for shipment after the auction. However, we will make every effort to address any post-auction sales or concerns you may have. NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Condition information is available upon request, no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is, " and COLLECTive Hudson will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting, and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.
