1940s Gold Rolex Standard Vintage Wristwatch
This is a vintage Rolex wristwatch from the 1940s. The watch features a lug to lug measurement of 37mm and a case to case measurement of 25mm. The bezel and case material are made of base metal with a gold plate. The caseback is also made of base metal. The movement of the watch is a modified caliber 59 stem wind with 17 jewels. The bracelet or fob is made of leather and has a strap style with a buckle clasp. The total length of the watch is 8.75 inches. It’s worth noting that the bracelet has a double metal keeper and probably Canadian made to bypass import duties in place at that time
