Yasha Heifetz Pair of Mid-Century Modern Yasha Heifetz Cerused Oak Figural carvings the black base of each is drilled for Table Lamp use
Pair of mid-century modern Yasha Heifetz table lamp bases. Carved, cerused oak male and female figures on wood bases.
The heifetz manufacturing company of new york started in 1938. Their primary product was table lamps, but they also made ashtrays, wood and metal sculptural items and a bit of furniture. The most popular of their designs were abstract lamp bases made of ceramic, wood or metal.
Both bases have incised marks to the backs and have openings for the lamp hardware and wiring. Each figure also having two openings to verso for additional hardware attachments.

Overall – 23 3/4" high. The bases, 2 3/4" high x 7 1/8" wide x 6 1/4" deep
Condition: Male figure has a small area of abrasion to one hip. Minor wear to painted surface of bases
