Signed Prendergast, Bathers at beach. Oil painting on Canvas
Signed "Prendergast". Maurice B Prendergast? possibly Oil on Canvas depicting three nude bathers at a beach. Signed lower right, ‘Prendergast’, and dated ‘1917’ lower left. Inscribed in pen on the back ‘MB Prendergast" with some additional writing and numbers on reverse that are possibly a phone number.
Stretcher – 24" high x 19" wide.
Condition: Painting has an old reline. Several very small areas of loss of paint to front. Paint losses at corners, possibly trimmed when restored.
