Vasile POP-NEGRESTEANU (b. 1955, Negresti-Oas, Satu Mare county) visual artist specializing in painting. In 1980 he graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" Bucharest, Department of Monumental Art and Restoration, class of Prof. Vasile Celmare and Nicolae Groza. Since 1984, he has been a member of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania. He participated in numerous exhibitions and art salons, both in the country and abroad, where he was awarded numerous prizes. His works can be found in public and private collections in: Romania, Argentina, England, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Holland, Sweden, Spain, Greece, USA, Israel, Turkey and Cyprus.
