Description
Large Framed signed Wedgwood Plaque, ‘The Fall of Phaeton’, after George Stubbs
Large Signed Wedgwood jasper ware plaque depicting a mythological scene based on ‘The Fall of Phaeton’, by George Stubbs. Nicely framed in recent moulding and wood panel backing with opening for impressed marks, dated . Brass plate to the front of moulding.
Frame – 17 1/4" high x 25 1/4" wide x 2" deep.
Condition: Not removed from frame, though it presents as very good. Framing is fairly recent and in very good condition.
