René Lalique glass ‘Quartre Perruches’ Clock. This design features two pairs of parakeets, perched on blossoming branches. The birds are often associated with love birds and companionship. Also known as the, ‘Inseperables’ and associated with loving partnership. Moulded makers mark, ‘R LALIQUE’. Inscribed along the bottom edge, ‘France’. Book reference: Marcilhac 765.

Condition: Tiniest fleabite on the rear. Only noticeable if I run my thumbnail over it. Clock wound. It starts and then stops quickly. No hairline fractures or chips along the edges.
