Empire Mahogany bronze mounted Marble Top secretary Abattant desk over draws. DESCENDED IN THE Family of Charles Willing. WILLING was a Philadelphia merchant, trader, TWICE Mayor of Philadelphia, (1749-1754) AND CO-DEVELOPED WILLINGTON, DELAWARE N/K/A WILMINGTON. His wife’s grandfather, Edward Shippen, and his eldest son, Thomas Willing, also served as mayors of Philadelphia. Thomas was also a Delegate to the Continental Congress from Pennsylvania.
