Cartier Art Deco 18K Gold, Vanity Case with a diamond and sapphire push clasp. French Hallmarks. Signed Cartier. 193 gramsThe rectangular shape compact features a multi compartment design highlighting an elongated rectangularshape mirror that opens to reveal a an additional miscellaneous compartment that also supports an eybrowpencil. Additionally, there is a hinged compartment designed to contain powder. The clasp features (6)rose-cut diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.20 carat, enhanced by one rectangular dark bluesapphire. The black enamel exterior alternates with square motif theme of gold. It is marked Cartier, Paris, French hallmarks. Gross weight 193 grams.Attached to one end of the compact is aunique and unusual oval link chain designed with gold linksalternating with black enamel links. The chain is approximately 8 inches long.
