Frank Gehry (Canadian/American, b. 1929) "Face Off" Center Table, for Knoll International US. Originally designed in 1990, The "Face Off" Center Table, a distinctive creation by the renowned Frank Gehry for Knoll. Drawing inspiration from the robustness of apple crates he played on in his childhood, Gehry crafted this table in 1990, utilizing laminated strips of hard white maple to form a ribbon-like pattern. This intricate design encircles a solid maple center column, upholding a top made of tempered clear glass. Table has branded marks for ‘Knoll’, as well as ‘Gehry’ signature, and ‘Made in U.S.A. 06 / 97.
