An 8-day Swiss clock mechanism with a bell strike feature, incorporating a rotating carousel adorned with figurines. The movement bears the signature of Gubelin and is characterized by eleven jewels in an unadjusted setup. The carousel’s banner is inscribed with "The Birnkrants". The base of the item is signed with the family names Michael, Cecile, Marilyn, and Michael Jr.
