Majorelle or Gallé Art Nouveau Clover Leaf Tripod Stand Table, Circa 1900
This is an Art Nouveau ripod stand table, possibly crafted by notable designers Majorelle or Gallé. The table features a distinctive clover leaf-shaped top, with the wood grain forming a symmetrical, floral-like pattern at the center, indicative of the naturalistic motifs favored during the Art Nouveau period. The edges of the table are gently scalloped, flowing seamlessly into the three curved legs that provide stability. The lower shelf echoes the top’s shape, offering additional space and aesthetic coherence.
